FAQ
-
Do you require testing?
No, we do not require testing for our guests. However, we strongly encourage all our guests to engage in open and honest discussions with their healthcare providers about their sexual health and the preventative measures they can take. This includes exploring options like Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (Doxy PEP) and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), which are proven strategies for preventing STIs and HIV transmission.
In light of ongoing public health concerns, we also recommend that our guests consider vaccination against COVID-19 and MPox (formerly known as monkeypox) as part of their health preparedness. While not required for entry, vaccination is highly recommended to protect yourself and others in the community.
For more information and resources on sexual health, prevention methods, and support, we recommend visiting the Cascadia AIDS Project at Cascadia AIDS Project. This organization offers a wealth of knowledge, support services, and guidance for those looking to learn more about maintaining their sexual health and well-being.

Do I have to have sex at a sex party?
Nope, it's not just about getting down and dirty. Picture this: a party atmosphere electrified with excitement, where guests are mingling, laughing, and simply soaking up the club vibes. We've got top-notch DJs spinning sick beats, and there's no shortage of activities to keep you entertained. But here's the kicker: you don't have to jump into the action if you're not feeling it! Yup, you heard that right. You can kick back, enjoy the scene, and have a blast your own way. It's all about choice and having a blast at my parties!

Are your events only for gay men?
Most of my events, outside of Hyde and Portland Vice, have indeed been marketed intentionally as a safe space for those who identify as men and enjoy gay sex, I want to make it abundantly clear that everyone is welcome. Sanctuary is a space of inclusivity and diversity, and we firmly believe in creating an environment where all individuals can feel safe and celebrated. Sanctuary is also the ONLY sex club in town that’s not a bath house that has gay events.
We do not discriminate based on gender, sexual preference, race, ethnicity, age, ability, relationship status, or identity. My aim is to foster a community where everyone, including women, trans, and non-binary folks, can explore and enjoy the unique atmosphere our events provide. In fact, we have received a lot of positive feedback from women who have attended our events, sharing that they had a fantastic time. Trans and non-binary individuals are absolutely welcome and integral to the diverse community we cherish.
